Job Summary

The Sales & Fundraising Coordinator reports to the Call Centre Manager and is a key member of the Sales/Operations team. The Sales & Fundraising Coordinator will recruit community teams as well as individual participants for the event, as well as coach these registrants to meet and exceed all fundraising and training goals. This role will also contribute to the overall registration and revenue goals set by the client and CauseForce.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and actively recruit individual participants and community teams via the phone, in person meetings, as well as attending expos and client functions
  • Drive participant acquisition through referral sales, re-recruitment of past participants and team development
  • Organise and lead event orientation sessions to foster recruitment and fundraising
  • Present event information to large groups and organizations
  • Provide an exceptional customer service experience for all participants, donors and volunteers
  • Coach, support and mentor participants including setting up fundraising plans with participants to ensure they meet their fundraising targets
  • Be the direct liaison for a portion of the participant base and ensure they receive consistent communication and coaching to reach their training and fundraising goals
  • Build and develop collaborative customer relationships to identify issues, assess needs and provide solutions
  • Serve as Event Staff during event season
  • Develop positive and collaborative working relationships with local and national event staff
  • Manage donation, IT and operational queries from participants
  • Execute the event strategy through promoting marketing campaigns and initiatives to participants
  • Achieve KPIs as set out by Call Centre Manager
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years sales experience (phone or face-to-face)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education is preferred
  • Exemplary communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
  • Prior experience within a fundraising or non-profit space or in events is a plus

Job Details/Conditions

  • Hours of work: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Salary: $45,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year
